Verse 1 of Dhyana Slokam

The 1st slokam of the Dhyanam:
Sinduraruna vigragam, trinayanam, manikyamaoli spharat
Taranayaka shekharam, smitamukhim, aapinavakshoruham
Panibhyam, alipurnaratna chashakam, raktotpalam bibhratim
Saomyam ratna ghatasdha raktacharanam Dhyayetparamanbikam

As dawn breaks, Lalitha’s form does glow,
A rising sun that warms the heart with its golden light.
Sinduraruna, her radiance, a divine flow,
Awakening souls to the kundalini’s call, a gentle sight.
Ignorance dispelled in her warm, crimson light’s show,

Three eyes, trinayanam, she proudly bears,
Sun, moon, and fire, in her gaze she shares.
Past, present, future, her vision ensnares,
Truth beyond time, a sight that tears
Through the veils of illusion, to the core she dares.

Manikyamaoli, her crown of rubies bright,
Sovereignty over realms, in radiant light.
Wisdom’s illumination, against ignorance’s night,
Her dignity supreme, a beacon of insight,
Guiding the lost, to spiritual height.

Adorned with the moon, taranayaka shekharam,
Her mastery over mind and time, a charm.
Cyclical nature of life, under her arm,
Regrowth, regeneration, a soothing balm.
In her eternal cycle, a comforting psalm.

With a smile, smitamukhim, her compassion flows,
Joy and love from her serene visage glows.
Bliss of awakening, around her it snows,
Her kindness, a river that forever grows,
In her warmth, the heart finds repose.

Youthful, aapinavakshoruham, she stands,
Nurturer of worlds, with tender hands.
Sweet spiritual sustenance, her love commands,
Mother to all, her care expands,
In her embrace, the soul understands.

Holding jewels, panibhyam alipurnaratna chashakam,
Riches of earth and spirit, in her palm.
Overflowing bounty, a divine balm,
Fulfilling desires, in her calm,
Her generosity, a healing psalm.

Raktotphalam, the red lotus in her hold,
Purity and enlightenment, its petals unfold.
Spiritual truths, in its heart, told,
Even in darkness, its bloom bold,
Her path of awakening, forever gold.

On precious stones, saomyam ratna ghatasdha, she does stand,
Raktacharanam, her reddish feet, full of life, awake, energetic, like the serene land.
Grounded in the world, yet to her devotees, a guiding hand,
Her gentle form, a solace grand,
In her presence, the soul finds its strand.

Meditate, dhyayetparamambikam, on her grace,
In her divine form, liberation’s face.
Through contemplation, the self we trace,
To her supreme essence, our spiritual base,
In her reflection, the universe we embrace.

Oh Lalitha, with your warm and radiant light,
Guide us on the path of truth and love’s true sight.
In your presence, we find peace and eternal delight.
