The only partner of Siva (Svādhīna-vallabhā)

In the realm of divine splendor,
Where celestial forces intertwine,
Lies the tale of Mother Lalitha,
Consort of Siva, forever entwined.

Siva, the mighty Lord of creation,
Wielder of cosmic power so vast,
In his desire and noble qualities,
Mother Lalitha's love he amassed.

She, the embodiment of divine Ichcha,
His desire personified in form,
Yet, she never succumbs to his sway,
In her dominion, she weathers the storm.

For Siva, in his wisdom profound,
Fashioned her to fulfill his role,
Shakti, the kinetic energy untamed,
His static energy, she does extol.

As the sole creation of mighty Siva,
It is said he belongs to her alone,
Their union the foundation of existence,
Inseparable, their essence is known.

Siva, the cause of this wondrous cosmos,
Shakti, his power, radiant and true,
In their harmonious dance, life abounds,
Their union, the cosmic bond we pursue.

Saundarya Lahari, the verses do affirm,
Without Shakti, Siva remains still,
United, they stir the universe's rhythm,
In their embrace, creation fulfills.

This truth echoes beyond divine realms,
Where Brahman and soul converge,
For neither can stand alone in creation,
Their union, the cycle's sacred urge.

Just as Siva cannot act without Shakti,
Her essence vital to every move,
So too does the soul seek the Brahman,
In union, life's purpose does prove.

Mother Lalitha, the true consort,
Owner of Siva, in love untold,
Their bond, a divine revelation,
In their embrace, eternity unfolds.
