A Poem for Kruthi and Deepak

Illuminations: When Creation Finds Its Light

In the hush where wonder softly grows,
Two kindred spirits find the path they chose.
She, Kruthi—creative spirit on the wing,
The urge to shape, to dance, to dream, to sing.
He, Deepak—ever-living, steady light,
A flame that keeps the darkest corners bright.

She moves like light—a river on the run,
Laughter like bells and eyes that hold the sun.
He listens gently, quiet as a prayer,
Finding music in the stillness of the air.

He may not speak in old, poetic lines,
But hears each rhythm where the spirit shines.
She, Kruthi, blooms in every step she takes,
Turning simple moments into sweet daybreaks.
Together, sitting in a softer space,
Their love a melody—steady, full of grace.

There’s a promise spoken with a glance,
A silent pact sealed every time they dance.
Deepak, whose name is flame and light,
Finds his spark reflected in her flight.
In his calm, she finds her place to land—
A quiet trust, a gentle, steady hand.

No words are needed when the heart is known;
Their love, a song the world sings on its own.
Slow as a raga, deep as restful sleep,
A bond that lingers, rooted, strong, and deep.
ā€œMade for each otherā€ā€”sometimes just a phrase,
But truth is here, in warmth that fills the days.

He hears the world in silent, thoughtful tunes,
She moves like rivers warmed beneath the moon.
Between them, something simple, strong, and true—
A space where making, shining, being bloom.

For in the ancient tongue, their names entwine:
A Kruthi, born to make and to define,
Yet every creation longs for eyes to see,
For what is art, if not a shared decree?
A Kruthi needs a Deepak to be truly known—
A lamp to cast its beauty, make it shown.

And Deepak, glowing constant, gentle, wise,
Finds his brightest purpose when he lights her skies.
A Deepak shines most when his flame is seen
Illuminating works both felt and keen.
So hand in hand, their gifts become complete—
Creation and its light, where heartbeats meet.

No words required, for their spirits know
How making and revealing softly grow.
So here’s to both of you, whose names reveal
The way that love and meaning shape and heal—
May your days be music, laughter, radiant art,
A shining Kruthi, and the lamp that lights her heart.

-Mani
